BMO Harris Mobile Banking is an easy way to do your banking on the go right from your smartphone or tablet. You can either download the App for the iPhone®, iPad® or Android™, or go to bmoharris.com using the web browser on your mobile device.
What exactly can I do with BMO Harris Mobile Banking?
With Mobile Banking you can deposit checks2, view account balances and recent account activity, transfer money, pay bills3, find ATMs and branch locations and schedule an appointment at a branch.
How do I start using BMO Harris Mobile Banking?
To use mobile banking you first need to be enrolled in BMO Harris Online Banking®. You can enroll in online banking from bmoharris.com. Once enrolled, you can visit bmoharris.com from your mobile phone to begin using BMO Harris Mobile Banking2, or you can download the BMO Harris Mobile BankingSM App directly from the App Store™ or Google Play™.

What security measures are in place to protect my payment and account activity?
Our Online Guarantees5 that protect you when you use online banking also apply to mobile banking. Is the BMO Harris Mobile Banking service always available?
BMO Harris Mobile Banking is available 24/7, with the exception of regularly scheduled maintenance windows, which occur every Sunday from midnight to 5:30 a.m. Central Time.

You can access your BMO Harris Checking, Savings, Money Market, CD and most Loan Accounts6.
What is BMO Harris Mobile Deposit®?
BMO Harris Mobile Deposit2 lets you deposit a check into an eligible BMO Harris Checking, Savings, or Money Market account using your iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ device.
Who is eligible to use BMO Harris Mobile Deposit2?
You must be a BMO Harris Online Banking customer who has had a BMO Harris account for more than 5 calendar days prior to becoming eligible to use BMO Harris Mobile Deposit.
Why can't I access BMO Harris Mobile Deposit?
To access Mobile Deposit2 through the iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ App, you must have at least one eligible BMO Harris Checking, Savings, or Money Market account.
How much can I deposit through BMO Harris Mobile Deposit?
Customers can deposit up to $5,000 over five Business Days through Mobile Deposit2.
What types of checks can I deposit through BMO Harris Mobile Deposit?
Most U.S. personal, business, and federal checks are accepted for deposit. U.S. Savings Bonds, foreign checks, and many rebate checks will not be accepted by BMO Harris Mobile Deposit2. If you have questions, please call 1-888-340-2265 to speak with a Banker.
My check was successfully deposited. When will the funds be available for withdrawal?
Deposits through BMO Harris Mobile Deposit2 are processed based on the time the deposit was submitted. If we receive the deposit on or before 7:00 p.m. Central Time (CT) on a Business Day, we will consider that day the day of deposit. If we receive the deposit after 7:00 p.m. CT, or on a weekend or other non-Business Day, we will consider the next Business Day as the day of deposit. For approved checks deposited into Checking Accounts, the first $500 of the deposit will be available 1 Business Day after the day of deposit. Any amount in excess of $500 will be available 2 Business Days after the day of deposit. For approved checks deposited into Savings or Money Market accounts, all funds will be available 2 Business Days after the day of deposit.
How long should I keep the original check after I deposit it?
Please keep the original check for 15 Business Days after you have deposited it. Once 15 Business Days have passed and you have verified that the money has been credited to your account, you should shred the check before discarding it. Do not attempt to deposit the check again.
Why are my check images being rejected?
It could be because the image wasn't clear enough. For the best results, lay your check on a flat, dark surface with adequate lighting. Hold the camera steady and make sure all four corners of the check are captured. Also make sure you have endorsed the back of the check.

What is Mobile Cash?
Mobile Cash7 is a mobile banking feature that lets you access cash from designated BMO Harris ATMs using your BMO Harris Mobile Banking App without swiping your ATM or debit card. All you need is an active ATM or debit card account, money in your account and the BMO Harris Mobile Banking App on your smartphone. It's a faster, more convenient and secure4 way to get your cash on the go.
Is there a fee to use Mobile Cash?
BMO Harris does not charge a fee to use Mobile Cash. However, because it is within the BMO Harris Mobile Banking App, message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.
Is Mobile Cash available on all BMO Harris ATMs?
Mobile Cash is available on the majority of BMO Harris ATMs. However, there are some locations that do not offer the service – primarily certain off-site locations such as Speedway, Walgreens, etc. You can easily find Mobile Cash ATMs through the in-app locator and the online Branch & ATM Locator.
What do I need to use Mobile Cash?
The BMO Harris Mobile Banking iPhone® or Android™ smartphone application, an active BMO Harris ATM or debit card linked to a BMO Harris Checking account with money in the account.
Do I need a separate app on my phone to scan the QR code?
No. We designed the BMO Harris Mobile Banking App to include the required QR software.
What if I don't scan the QR code at the ATM?
QR codes will expire after 45 seconds, at which point the transaction will be canceled. If you walk away from an ATM with a QR code displayed on the screen, there is no security risk to you. The QR code contains no personal information about you or your accounts. It simply identifies which ATM you are using for the transaction.
What cash multiples can I select with Mobile Cash?
When using the Mobile Cash service, you can only select multiples of $20.
Is Mobile Cash secure?
Yes. Mobile Cash is a secure4 way to access your cash. Your personal information, including card number and security code, is never stored in the BMO Harris Mobile Banking App or on your mobile device. Because it's a part of BMO Harris Mobile Banking, Mobile Cash is protected by the same User ID and Password authentication security used for online banking and mobile banking.
Can I use Mobile Cash on any of my mobile devices?
Mobile Cash can only be used on smartphones you have registered for BMO Harris Mobile Banking. Registering a device requires an additional layer of authentication. Mobile Cash can only be used on iPhone® or Android™ smartphones using the BMO Harris Mobile Banking App. Mobile Cash is not available on tablet devices.
What should I do if my phone is lost?
If your phone is lost, please call 1-888-340-2265 immediately and we will disable your mobile banking account. This will make Mobile Cash and mobile banking inaccessible to anyone attempting to use your lost or stolen device. In order to resume using Mobile Cash, you will need to register a new device with BMO Harris Mobile Banking. Registering a device requires an additional layer of authentication.
What if I have unauthorized debit card transactions on my account?
The same liability rules that currently apply to unauthorized debit card transactions will also apply to unauthorized Mobile Cash transactions. Please see the Deposit Account Agreement for Personal and Business Accounts for details.
Does Mobile Cash have transaction limits?
Even though you don't use a physical card to access Mobile Cash, the service is still considered a card transaction and all daily transaction limits that apply to your ATM or debit card accounts also apply to your Mobile Cash withdrawals. If you don't know what your card's withdrawal limits are, please ask your Banker or call 1-888-340-2265.

What is Total Look Mobile?
BMO Harris Total Look8 is now mobile and no additional set up is needed. This free money-management tool helps you simplify your finances and save time all from the convenience of your smartphone. It gives you a consolidated view of your checking and savings accounts, online investments, credit cards, mortgages, loans and more – even if some of them are not with us – in one secure location.
How do I sign up for Total Look Mobile?
Sign into your BMO Harris account using your Android™ (excludes Kindle) or iOS phone or tablet and click on 'Total Look' from the mobile banking menu.
Why don't I see my BMO Harris credit card and investment account?
These accounts are not automatically added to your Total Look Mobile account. You can add them manually by logging into mobile banking and clicking 'Total Look' in the menu. Click 'Link Account', search for the BMO Harris credit card or investment account you want to add, enter the account information and click 'Add'.
How can I add an account in Total Look Mobile?
It's easy to add accounts. Click on 'Total Look' from the mobile banking menu, then click 'Link an Account' and enter the account you want to add or select from a list of popular accounts. Enter your online login information for the account being added and click 'Link Account'. Click 'Continue' and the account will instantly appear.
What types of accounts can I add in Total Look Mobile?
A variety of account types can be added, including BMO Harris and non-BMO Harris accounts. Account types are grouped as Banking, Credit Cards, Loans, Mortgages, Investments, Insurance, Real Estate, Rewards, Bills, Utilities, Cell Phone & Wireless, Phone & Long Distance, Cable & Satellite, Other Assets, Other Liabilities, and Payment Services.
You can view account balances for each account as well as the total balance for every account group. You have the option to display account details and transactions, and an easy-to-use filter is also available to display only the accounts you want to see.
Can I make edits in Total Look Mobile?
Yes, some fields can be changed:
- Descriptions – Type over the original description to change it
- Tags – Tap the Tag option to tag or re-tag transactions
- Memo – The Memo text box can be edited (limited to 140 characters)
- Category – Tap the Category options and change the category assigned to a transaction in the Categories view.
- By default, Total Look Mobile shows all transactions for the last 30 days, including the current day. The list of transactions can contain cleared, posted, scheduled, and future transactions for all accounts, a selected account group, or a selected individual account. Transactions that match your search criteria are displayed.
What if my bank account isn't available to add via Link Account?
Contact the BMO Harris Customer Contact Center at 1-888-340-2265 to request that your bank be added. It typically takes a couple of weeks to add it to your account.
How do I activate Mobile Bill Pay?
Once you're enrolled in BMO Harris Online Banking®, you can start using Bill Pay® by logging in to Online Banking and clicking the 'Payments' tab. Choose the primary account where the majority of your payments will come from (you may also choose additional accounts to pay bills from).
What can I do in Mobile Bill Pay?
- Schedule one-time payments to payees you've set up within Online Banking or the Mobile Banking app
- View payments for the past 30 days
- View, edit and delete scheduled payments for the next 30 days
- Add, modify and delete payees
How do I add a payee through the Mobile Banking app?
Sign on to the app, select 'Bill Pay' from the menu, then the 'Add' button. Follow the on- screen prompts.
How do I edit a payee in the Mobile Banking app?
Sign on to the Mobile Banking app, select 'Bill Pay' from the menu, then select the payee you want to edit, and select 'Edit.'
How do I delete a payee in the Mobile Banking app?
Sign on to the Mobile Banking app, select 'Bill Pay' from the menu, then select the payee you want to delete, and select 'Delete.'
Will the payees I add or modify in Mobile Banking display in Online Banking?
Yes. All of your payees can be seen in Mobile Banking and Online Banking.
What is Touch ID?
Touch ID is an Apple biometric fingerprint recognition feature that's available on select Apple devices. This technology allows users to use their fingerprint to unlock their Apple device instead of using a passcode. You can learn more about Touch ID at apple.us.
Why use Touch ID to sign in to BMO Harris Mobile Banking?
Touch ID Sign In is an opt-in feature that provides access to your BMO Harris Mobile Banking must-haves – Mobile Cash, account activity and balance detail - through the touch of your fingerprint. It's convenient, accessible, fast, and secure4.
Who can use Touch ID to sign in to BMO Harris Mobile Banking?
You can register for Touch ID if you have the latest version of the BMO Harris Mobile Banking app installed on an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus running iOS 8. Touch ID Sign In is an opt-in feature that is not mandatory to mobile banking customers. Once setup you can sign in to BMO Harris Mobile Banking with your fingerprint.
Is Touch ID sign in secure?
Touch ID sign in is a secure form of sign in for BMO Harris Mobile Banking iPhone devices. You are protected by the same high level security that is used for BMO Harris Online Banking and BMO Harris Mobile Banking.
How do I set up Touch ID for sign in?
Step 1: Open the BMO Harris Mobile Banking app and select 'Settings'
Step 2: Select Touch ID or Passcode on the Quick Access screen
Note: iPhone® 5S, 6 or 6 Plus users select Touch ID from the Quick Access screen
If another person's fingerprint is registered in iOS to Touch ID, will they have access to my BMO Harris Mobile Banking account?
Yes, all users with Touch ID fingerprints registered to your device will have access to account balances, transaction history and Mobile Cash. If other user's fingerprints are registered for Touch ID, do not enable this feature.
What if my mobile device is lost or stolen?
If your mobile device is lost or stolen, or you are worried that it is being misused, contact your mobile service provider immediately to stop all wireless service. We can also help by you by disabling your mobile banking service and reviewing your recent account activity. Just call us anytime, 24/7 at 1-888-340-2265.
