U.S. Chief Human Resources Officer, BMO Financial Group
Larissa Chaikowsky is U.S. Chief Human Resources Officer for BMO Financial Group. She oversees the strategic and operational governance processes of the U.S. HR organization. She also executes enterprise HR priorities in the U.S. and supports the execution in other Banking/Corporate Groups in the U.S., overseeing and coordinating human resources related matters as they pertain to: U.S. regulatory agencies, and U.S. mergers and acquisitions. Larissa has a leadership role with the Human Resources Committee of the BMO Financial Corp board of Directors and the Benefits Investment Committee. She also chairs the U.S. Compensation Oversight Committee and the U.S. Benefits Administration Committee.
During her nine year tenure with BMO, Larissa has held several senior positions that have played a role in helping redefine the BMO brand and improving the business practices of Technology and Operations. Prior to her current role, Larissa was appointed Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Technology and Operations and Corporate Areas.
Larissa has played several key roles supporting BMO’s Employee Giving Campaign, including Executive Sponsor for United Way GenNext and Employee Giving Chair for HR.
Larissa received her Bachelor of International Business and Relations from the Sprott School of Business and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, where she was an Ivey Scholar.
