Cecily Mistarz is Executive Vice President and U.S. Chief Risk Officer for BMO Financial Group. She is responsible for ensuring that the organization is effectively identifying and managing the risks in the businesses and legal entities through which it operates in the U.S.
Cecily began her career with BMO in Corporate Banking in 1990, holding a variety of positons in Corporate Banking, Credit Risk and Risk Management. Most recently, she was overseeing the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulatory remediation activity underway in the U.S., providing the structure, processes and integration necessary to ensure that regulatory issues are successfully resolved and regulator expectations met.
Cecily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Bradley University and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. She is on the Board of Directors of the Safer Foundation and Common Threads.
