    Why am I being asked to set up challenge questions?
    We ask challenge questions for your security. Each time that we do not recognize the computer or method you are using to log in, we will ask you challenge questions to verify your identity.
    Why am I being asked to answer my challenge questions while logging in to online banking?
    We ask one of your challenge questions each time that we do not recognize the computer or method you are using to log in to verify your identity.
    How do I retrieve my User ID if I forgot it?
    You can retrieve your online banking User ID online or by phone. To retrieve at bmoharris.com, click the “Need Help with your User ID” link under the Secure Log In section. For online assistance, select the Push to Talk button, or call 1-888-340-2265.
    How do I change my password?
    Log in to online banking. Select the Preferences tab under the Home tab. Click on Change Password. Enter your current and new passwords. Click submit. A green check mark and message will appear to confirm the change was successful.

    Where can I view my transaction history with a running balance?
    Log in to online banking. Select the desired account. Select “Date Range” from the drop down menu in the Account Register page. Enter desired dates. Then, click on the View button.
    How do I set up an alert, (for example when my balance is less than $200)?
    Log in to online banking. Select the Alerts & Messages option under the Home tab. Then, select Manage Alerts and use the “Create New Alert” drop down menu to setup the desired Alert.
    How do I change the frequency of my recurring transfer?
    Log in to online banking. Select the Transfers tab. Select the recurring transfer you would like to modify. Enter the details of your new transfer on the Modify Transfer page. Click "Preview Transfer" before submitting.
    Can I access my account statements through online banking?
    Yes, you may access your online statements for your eligible accounts anytime through Online Banking.
    How do I re-order my checks?
    You can re-order checks either online or by phone. To order at bmoharris.com, log in to online banking and highlight Services under the Services tab. Then, click the Reorder Checks option. For online assistance, select the Push to Talk button, or call 1-888-340-2265.
    How do I place a stop payment on a check through online banking?
    You may place a stop payment on a check that has been presented for payment and has not cleared your account. Log in to online banking. Highlight Services under the Services tab. Go to the Stop Payment Request page. Select account. Click on the Place Stop Payment Requests link. There is a fee for placing a stop payment on a check. Please refer to the Deposit Account Disclosure for your account for the current fee.
    Can I make a payment to my BMO Harris mortgage loan through online banking?
    Payments can be made to your BMO Harris mortgage account from your BMO Harris checking account by completing an account transfer within online banking. It may take up to one Business Day before the credit will be reflected on your loan balance. If you specified an amount that is different than your Amount Due, it may take additional time before the credit is reflected. Remember, you can also use BMO Harris Bill PaySM to pay your mortgage held at another institution.
    How do I change my address through online banking?
    For personal accounts: Log in to online banking. Highlight Preferences under the Home tab. Select Request Address Change. For business accounts, please contact your BMO Harris Business Banker for assistance.
    How do I print a copy of a check that has cleared my checking account?
    Log in to online banking. Select the desired account. Search either by date range or check number. Click on the desired check number in the transaction column. A copy of the cancelled check will display. Use the Print Screen button to print a copy. Some payees may process checks electronically, depending on the merchant or business, images of these items will not be available through online banking.

    What do I do if I don't see all of my accounts through online banking?
    Call 1-888-340-2265. To view non-BMO Harris accounts, enroll in BMO Harris Total Look®. It's free and there is no software - which means no downloading or upgrading is necessary.
    Why am I being required to provide an email address?
    We send important account notifications such as security updates and alerts via email. And if you have not opted out of receiving marketing emails, we will send offers and other promotional communications via email.
    Are there any fees for using online banking?
    Online banking is free. However, some services such as stop payments and statement copy requests have fees associated. Please refer to the Deposit Account Disclosure for your account for more details.
    What accounts can I access through online banking?
    Online banking is available for the following accounts: checking, money market, savings, certificates of deposit, IRA certificate of deposit, IRA savings, mortgages, lines of credit and installment loan accounts for personal and small business.
    Who do I call if I have questions regarding online banking?
    For online assistance, select the Push to Talk button or call 1-888-340-2265.
    Can I use Quicken®, QuickBooks®, or Microsoft Money® software with online banking?
    Yes. Log in to online banking. Select the Accounts tab. Download information to either Quicken®, QuickBooks®, CSV or Microsoft Money® software.
    How do I change the email address I use for online banking?
    Log in to online banking. Click on the Home tab. Select the Preferences option under the Home tab. Click on Change Primary Email Address from the drop down menu.

    Why don't I see my Security Phrase and Security Image at login?
    BMO Harris has upgraded the login process to offer you faster access to your accounts. Each time you enter your User ID and Password, we will attempt to recognize the computer and method you are using to log in. If we do not recognize the computer you are using or how you are accessing your account, we may ask you one of your challenge questions to verify your identity.     How will I know if I am on the genuine bmoharris.com site?

Business Bill Pay

    How do I sign-up for BMO Harris Bill Pay?
    Once you are enrolled in BMO Harris Online Banking for Small Business, you can enroll in Business Bill Pay. Log in to online banking and click on the 'Payments' tab. Select 'Bill Pay' and click 'Enroll'. Choose the account that will be your primary funding account from which the majority of your payments will be processed. Click 'Continue' and complete the enrollment process. That's it; you're now enrolled in BMO Harris Business Bill Pay.
    How do I log in to BMO Harris Business Bill Pay?
    Simply log in to BMO Harris Online Banking for Small Business account and click on the 'Payments' tab.

    Who can I pay with BMO Harris Bill Pay®?
    You can pay almost anyone in the United States – ranging from your electric bill to your dog sitter. Government or court-directed payments and payments to internet gambling organizations may not be made through BMO Harris Business Bill Pay.
    How do I add a biller?
    Simply click on the "Add biller" icon in the 'Manage my bills' area and enter the appropriate information.
    What happens if my due date falls on a holiday or weekend?
    Your payment will be processed on the previous Business Day since payments are not processed on holidays or weekends.
    How long does it take for a payment to reach a biller?
    If we pay the biller by electronic payments, it can take up to two Business Days. If the payment will be made by check, then it can take up to four Business Days from the scheduled payment date.
    When will the money be taken out of my checking or money market account?
    If the biller accepts electronic payments, your money will stay in your checking or money market account until the day that your electronic payment is made. If the payment is made with a paper check, the money will stay in your account until the check is cashed.
    What happens if my payment arrives late to my biller?
    If you have scheduled the payment accurately in BMO Harris Business Bill Pay®, you have sufficient available funds to cover the payment on the scheduled payment date and your payment isn't delayed for reasons set forth in the BMO Harris Online Banking® Services Agreement, your payments will arrive as scheduled or we will cover any late fees. Certain limitations and exceptions apply as outlined on the BMO Harris Online Banking Services Agreement.
    What is a payment reminder?
    A payment reminder helps keep your bills organized and prevents you from missing a payment. We'll automatically tell you when to pay your bills when you set up a reminder. Setting up a payment reminder is optional, but recommended, and can be set up when creating or modifying a payment. Once set up, look for the 'Due in ## days" under the biller within the 'Manage my bills' area of the Payment Center. To manage your email alerts, go to the 'Helpful resources' area and click the 'Alert Preferences' icon.
    What are electronic bills (e-bills)?
    E-bills are free, secure1 electronic versions of the same paper bills you receive in the mail. You can even set up e-bills to be paid automatically. Quickly determine whether a biller offers e-bills by rolling over the biller name within the 'Manage my bills' area. If an e-bill is available for the biller, click the 'Sign up for e-bill' link. An icon will automatically appear next to any biller that offers e-bills.
    What are the benefits of e-bills?
    With e-bills, you can:
    • Eliminate clutter -- store and print up to 24 months of e-bills
    • View the same details that you would see on your paper bills
    • Set up email alerts to notify you when e-bills arrive
    • Make quick, secure1 payments
    Can I make payments from more than one funding account?
    Yes, you can make payments from any eligible BMO Harris checking or money market account enrolled in BMO Harris Business Bill Pay.
    Is there a way I can view my spending history?
    The 'Reports/History' feature allows you to do a variety of tasks quickly, such as analyzing spending habits and researching up to 24 months of payment history within BMO Harris Business Bill Pay. Use either the default reports or customize and save your reports to meet your reporting needs. Go to the 'Help resources' area within the Payment Center and click the 'Report/History' icon to view and manage your financial reports.
    Can I choose what email alerts are sent to me?
    To manage your email alerts, go to the 'Helpful resources' area and click the 'Alert Preferences' icon. Click the category you want to view and select the check box for the alert you wish to receive from the list of available notifications. Note that there are some alerts that are generated automatically to notify you of specific activity in your bill pay account. For security purposes, you are unable to turn them off or unselect them.

    What is BMO Harris Total Look®?
    BMO Harris Total Look is a free money management tool from BMO Harris which allows you to accumulate and view account balances and transactions for both your BMO Harris and non-BMO Harris accounts online. The tool also allows you to categorize your spending, create budgets and expense charts and receive email alerts.
